Back in the early 70s, we would go in the Brule to shoot nutrias. Killed one so big that the biology teacher at Thibodaux High, Mr. Barry Landry, mounted it. As far as I know, it might still be in the biology lab. Would need to check with T-Hay to be sure. Would also fish for choupic. Even looked for the Brule monster back in the day. Never went there during hunting season because we knew the property was leased for deer hunting and did not want to get in the way.

That's my entire point. This isn't by accident. This guy is so far in the swamp it is way past general woods browsing with his kids. He had to turn off the only paved road that runs through the area, drive a half mile down a levee and climb over a gate on the levee to even get within a mile of where he is. He also passed multiple deer stands which should have been his sign to leave

Make sure to file with sheriff the photos. If/when you eventually catch him there will be multiple reported records of him trespassing.

My friend and I went to set up stands a few weeks back, and the neighbors stopped by and told us about some trespassers hunting from the interstate.

We finished setting up that first stand, went and set up next, and on our way out heard a shot. Looked around and saw the guy standing over a doe and staring back at the trail.

Buddy went over and they chatted a bit, the trespasser tagged his deer, and we made him leave without it. Buddy filed with the sheriff and ldwf so the account and name is on record.

I wear orange at all times as long as any season is open. Not sure of the rule since I am always covered. This guy just didn't care about his or his kids safety

From the look of that big as earring he has, he may be a rapper. Out in the woods trying to get some inspiration.

PS. Going hit up the fish again with dad and grandpa, if we caught like we did yesterday . let's go Saturday
