Which one of you baws thought it was a good idea to bring your Bass Tracker on the front side of Elmer's Island to fish, loaded down with 5 people, then sunk it in the breakers

Buddy almost did that a couple weeks ago in his brand new blackjack. Said the only thing that saved him from sinking was the bottom.

Didnt want to be a dick and go all poparazzi on them. My phone was dead anyway, got this from someone I know down the beach. Been walking the beach surf fishing all morning, wasn't walking back again.

Is that sasquatch back there? They always cause pictures to go out of focus, it's some sort of mysterious natural phenomenon.

If it wasn't for water in the picture I would say it was taken off the grassy knoll.....

How long did you shake the Polaroid picture? Just a bit longer and maybe it would have came out clearer

Surely another OBer will come along with a better photo...

Saw that boat pulled in yesterday to Bridgeside. When they pulled it out it drained for s while. I knew something had happened, and esp when the USCG grilled the guy at the launch.
That was one old boat. The most narrow I've ever seen. Prob 4' wide at best.

so maybe they were just trying to get out of the boat from lightning and had no choice?
I rather lose the boat then my life, but then are you really any safer out in the open? so maybe they were forced to beach it from too rough conditions and high waves?

Motor wouldn't crank, wind pushed them into the breakers, could have thrown the anchor before then and would have been able to get a tow. They were way overloaded for that little boat though.
