I realize this is a long shot but I am missing my German Shepherd dog. I know there are a lot of people from all over who use this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He has been missing since December 13 so he could be anywhere. He went missing in Clayton, LA. He is the black and tan one. Have a friend from Delhi, LA who is missing her white german shepherd as well. They are missing separately. If you do happen to see them and are not able to stay with them please take photos of them. Thank you!

My German Shepherd, Zeus, is missing. He was separated from us in the woods at our place on Hwy 65 outside Clayton, LA. Has been missing since Saturday, December 13. If you happen to see him please call us at 6018072908. A large reward will be offered. No questions asked

White German Shepherd, red collar, male in the Delhi, LA area
Please call 318-307-2310 if you have any info

In the meantime I would leave an article of clothing with your scent on, where you were with him last. If he returns he may hang around.

Have read this works and is similar to other techniques that work, they need water, their kennel if the situation permits along with the clothing.

Brother, I feel for you right now. I have a German Shepherd male that is like a son to me. He is the smartest dog I have ever had - it's like he reads my mind and wants to do everything he can to please me. When I go out of town, I know he would die protecting my young son and wife, it gives me a real sense of security.

While I'm not in the area he went missing in, I'm going to keep you in my prayers and hope you find him soon.

As far as you Chad,

Maybe make a Facebook post on a group of lost pets of your "area.

Chad can't help from being a dick. His parents didn't love him enough!

My question was fair, dude puts reward in all caps and uses the adjective "large".

I was actually through that area just a couple of hours ago and didn't see any dogs at all through there...

I can see where some folks have been riding 4 wheelers up the side of the highway and going into the woods, so you may want to catch up with some of them to see if they can tell you anything...

also, I am betting that the same folks have an occasional beer at that little bar on the east side of 65 just outside of clayton...I'd stop in and make friends with the owner/bartender, as you might get some help there...

G'luck w/ the search. Buddy had one go walk-about during duck season last year. Chased a cripple into the afternoon. Fishermen found him off the lease in the middle of the marsh almost 3 days later. Could've been ugly.
