Does anyone mill their own lumber? I have a few oaks that I would like to cut to make a new desk. Is there a chainsaw mill attachment that you would recommend? Thanks

Alaskan MK3 is what you are looking for. I've milled thousand of board feet with one. Get a skip a link chain for your saw, for faster work.

Thanks going to check it out. Any particular saw size?

Not sure on saw size. I would think as long as your bar is longer than the diameter of the log, you should be good.
I use a stihl 660 magnum with a 48' bar. I cut on a commercial level, though. Way overkill for just a few trees. Real fun saw, none the less.
What kind of oak are you harvesting?
