NEA is dead. I normally will see 20-30 groups min while sitting in the stand. Last time out I saw one group. Lots of people here aren't even going out for second split opener.

Bummer. Southern duck hunting is going to hell in a handbasket. Used to go all the time, now we just shoot for a week in South Dakota every year and if we dont get drawn then we're relegated to this crap, prolly spend all week just looking for ducks instead of shooting them

1st split was great here. Supposed to be 70 here tomorrow. If we get a cold snap they will be back.

My buddies scratched this am on the White River. Worked several groups but nothing would commit. Foggy and cloudy makes it tough. We have birds all over the place up on our place out of Jonesboro. We limited yesterday and my buddies limited this morning. Specks everywhere.

Buddy of mine and his crew have shot almost 80 mallards the last 2 days off the Cache.

Just got back from duck hunting on the MS side across from Hamburg, Ark. We lease catfish ponds and the ducks are in those ponds like ants at a picnic. I shot 2 boxes of shells to get a limit of assorted shovelers and what not. Got a new Benelli SBE2 and can't hit jack. If I can figure out how to load a video, it will blow your mind. I'm just getting into duck hunting and it's a kick in the pants.

We're just gonna settle for Felsenthal. Doesn't appear there's anything hot anywhere within reason.

Not many ducks in the state right now. All of the die hard duck hunters in our deer lease were at camp today.
