I found a few mice in an old dog house near my garden this weekend. I know I'm missing tomatoes and just found a mouse turd on a tomato plant leaf. They aren't messing with my peppers or cucumbers. What can I use that won't harm my dogs if they get into it?

Agreed 100%.

Will shy away from contact with your dog. Is a rodent killing machine. Rarely, if ever, strikes at humans. Will also rid you of less desirable snakes such as copperheads and small rattlers. No negatives about a speck.

Snake was my first thought as well. Not sure how to keep one around though. I've thrown the dog house away and haven't seen one since this weekend but I know they are still here since I spotted the shite on a leaf

Do they make a snake leash?

Get one of those no kill mouse traps, something your mutt won't get into

You got mice, it'll hang around. Seriously, I don't know how to keep them or where to reliably find them for free. I've just been lucky with them around.

I used to see black racers in my landscaping all the time. Now, I only see one speckled king snake.
