Metsulfuron (MSM) vs Weed Free Zone

There have been several threads lately on weed maintenance. With an extremely warm winter, I'm already behind the eightball with my yard. I have a slanted yard, so granular applications are never a good option; however, MSM and/or WFZ have done decent in the past. I always get lazy about it after the first time I use it then get pissed late spring that my yard is full of weeds.
I used MSM 2 weeks ago then a freak monsoon appeared 6 hours later. I have some weed kill but most of yard is still untouched. Is it safe to rotate MSM and WFZ?
How frequently if so?

You likely need to apply a pre emergent herbicide in late march. The weeds you're likely experiencing later in season at late bloomers, especially if you're getting good kill from your post emergent herbicides. I'm almost certain they typically recommend waiting several weeks between post emergent application, however if your first application got hammered by rain you may be good to go ahead and retreat.
