Well shite. Didn't even cross my mind to be a pregnant sow. Hopefully my uncle or cousin kills it before it drops more damn pigs.

I dont have hogs on my place but I have a friend about 30 miles south of me who does. His family are soybean farmers.

They kill 1000+ every year and are barely make a dent in them. They shoot them with M855 .223 rounds. He does not want to kill them in the field. He wants them to run out of the field and die in the woods. He said a rotting hog will screwup your day when you are driving a combine through a field.

Yeah, we had an older feeder tumped over a few weeks ago. Looks like we found the culprit

Yes Bar is short for Barrow.


But if you want to be specific..a barrow is a male hog castrated before puberty...after puberty they are called stags.
