Parents just sent me this pic of a hog on our place in Mississippi. This dude has to be 350+ lbs. Biggest hog I've seen on our place.

Poor pig. He has a thyroid problem.

Hopefully he will have a 223 problem soon. but really, what yall think this monster weighs?
Posted on 2/17/17 at 10:46 pm to beerJeep
311.55 pounds.
And do him with something bigger than a .223.

Dude looks massive. I sure as hell don't wanna run into him on accident

A bar is a male hog that has had his nuts cut. Domestic hogs are cut to be less aggressive and typically get a bit heavier/larger.

Barred is like a gelding horse, has been de-butted and turned back wild. Better eating than a stinkin arse boar, I've heard that anyway.

I sure as frick hope someone didn't release this fricker back in the wild. Screw that, kill on sight. Not catch neuter and release. It's a super rural area. Think the next neighbor is 3/4 mile away, possibly farther.

Looks like one of those Lebesiams from the pussy hat march.

Ah, so I'm only about 30 minutes from you. I have friends with places in Natchez and Woodville and they are having serious hog issues. I have a few on my place but not nearly as bad as that side.

Yeah, We've had them for years. And this year I haven't seen as many but then this monster shows up

Looks like she should be dropping about 12-15 lil bacon bits any day now

I'm leaning towards a 200+ sow about to drop some babies.
We've killed some barrows over 300lbs but they all had some tusk. May just be my eyes suck but I'm not seeing any cutters on that one
A lot of guys in that are run hog dogs. They'll cut a young boar in hopes of later catching that 400lb beast.

I've raised hogs and did not know that. The name for a castrated male is a barrow. (Young females are gilts.)
I guess bar is baw for barrow.
