Launched the yak outta Coco Marina this morning. After about 5 mins of paddling into the North wind of 15-20, almost turned around. But once I got to my spot, reds and specks were stacked in there. Left the reds biting. One of my most successful yak trips ever.

On a side note, if you see this 30"+ red around there, can you recover my fish grip from it? Yeah, she took off with it.

Caught 6 specks, one throwback...the keepers were 12-14". Check out the red on top with 3 dots.

I passed three motor boats on the way in and I had more keepers than all of them combined.

I saw a guy going out in a yak in manchac today and the wind had to be 20 mph. I thought to myself "i couldnt get paid to paddle in that wind"

Good job man. I was fishing solo in Dulac this morning and caught 1 keeper red that I threw back.

Owe it all to you, brah. You are the one that turned me on to that spot. Caught all the specks in one spot.

Better than us. 1 white trout. Couldn't get away from the wind.

Yeah, I was able to get where the fish were hiding. But when I launched I was saying, "Today is the day I wish I had a motorboat."

Weather was weird today...wind was blowing from north, but temps weren't as cool as I thought it would be and water was ALOT higher than I thought it would be. I guess it was the perfect storm for where I was fishing.

That redfish is likely anchored to the bottom, wherever you dropped it and the fish grips.
With that kind of weight, it is unlikely the fish swam very far

Do you use a stringer to store all of those?
