We haven't had a good thread to show off our best hunting partners in a while. I'll start it off. I've always been a Lab guy until this bad boy came along. I got my first Chessie earlier this year. He'll turn 1 in Jan '14. Best hunting dog I've ever trained so far and is steadily on his way to being one of the best I've hunted with period. Now I know Labs are good dogs but you're gonna be hard pressed to find the kind of drive and heart that a Chessie has in a Lab. I went to the dark side haha!

My tracking dog and drinking buddy. Incredible dog.

And here he is with my bloodhound gyp. She doesn't really have a job.

Mine certainly don't hunt, but the midget loves to herd:

Maude... she's a tad retarded, but entertaining(wheaten terrier)

And the nugget of my life, Herbert(the needy, nudgy, pain in my arse Corgi dog)

I got "Roseau" for Christmas in 2010. He made his first hunt in September of 2011 and never looked back. He's spoiled but in true chessie fashion is still all business on the levee.

First is him after a limit teal hunt this year

This one is him waiting for the urban democrats to serve him at McDonalds where he often gets 8 or 10 mcdoubles.
