Looking to adopt/rescue a young dog/pup Catahoula or Blue Heeler

Just put my 17+ year old black lab down on Monday & I'm really missing him & having a dog around the place. I've had catahoulas & blue heelers before & would like to get another one, anyone know any good rescue places for these type dogs. I'm going the rescue route because I figure I should give a dog a second chance. TIA

Not sure if you're interested, but I have a nalc registered female red leopard cur that is about to be 2 that I don't mess with a whole lot that I would let go just because I have a younger pup that is started on blood. I'm not going to give her away but I'd let her go cheap. My cousin also has a litter of cur pups that will be ready in about 5 weeks. Just an option if you were interested. Good luck and sorry about the loss of your buddy.

Dog People of Livingston Parish has a link to adopt a pet .com on their website
They have a couple up for adoption right now, don't think they are puppies
You can contact them if you want to be notified when (not if) they rescue puppies
