Looking for Yellow Lab Puppy - Anyone know a breeder with one?

I'm looking for a yellow or fox red lab puppy (preferably within 3-4 hours of Baton Rouge). I'll take male or female, but the parents need to be registered and hip/elbow/eye "certified." A plus would be a health guarantee.
Does anyone know of a breeder who may have pups now? Thanks is advance!

For christ sake, what's wrong with a pound puppy? Best bird dog I ever had came from the pound. Full bred dogs are so overrated.
Sorry for the rant.

He doesn't want a pound puppy, get over it

There's nothing wrong with a pound puppy, except that you may be able to eliminate the chance of health problems in the future with a properly bred dog. I've had to put down several dogs from 6 months old to 4 years old for health problems. I also had to have my lab's hip bone sawed off. If I can at least better my chances of this not happening, I'm willing to pay a little extra, especially with 3 kids.

Check y-farms in walker. They have their current available puppies listed on their website.

Thanks. I saw their website said all puppies are sold but another litter may be due mid-April. I'll contact them.

This is the opposite from true. You think banging a family member will result in a healthier baby?
Again, sorry for the rant. I've had full blooded dogs in the past so im not on a high horse here. I just thing most dog breeders are the scum of the earth.

why is that. I have a black lab from them. 100% happy with it.

As long as I get a healthy lab with a good temperament, I'll be happy. In fact, temperament is more important than drive.

Can anyone else recommend a breeder or just someone who has healthy dogs and plans to have pups?
