I have a pair of Maui Jims that I sent off to have prescription lenses put in. I am looking for suggestions on a second pair that won't cost quite as much. I have looked at Smith Optics. Anyone have any experience with these?

Wiley X were about $300 less than Maui or Costa. Very pleased with mine.

Almost any place that sells prescription glasses. I have prescription lenses in Ray Ban frames and some in less expensive frames as well

I've had my prescription Costas for 12 years. (Before they were cool, and when they still said "Costa Del Mar" on the frames.) They have been beat up, dropped, crushed, left for dead, and they still work pretty damn good. They are now my go-to outdoor glasses, with my Ray Bans being for driving.

Edit: I looked at Costas the other day for prescription sunglasses, and just now looked at Smith's. As far as selection, Costa has Smith beat hands down.

I have a pair of Costas now, but they aren't prescription. I have to send them back for repair because the rubber keeps falling apart. I want a pair with no rubber on them. Also prescription Costas cost about $650.00. Don't want to spend that much if I can help it.

We get Smith Optics and Wiley X free through work. I have a cpl pairs of each. The Smiths that I have are the Hideout Tactical. They are nice glasses and very light.

I have two pairs of Wiley x RX sunglasses.
Love em. Cost about $300 each.
That's w readers, polarizing and emerald green mirror finish.

I've used SportRx.com and optics planet.

I may be needing new lenses soon. Current ones are just a basic amberish polarized. What's their best for fishing?

I have a pair of MJ's and Costa's. I like the MJ's for driving because they have an almost black lens in them. But the Costa's have bigger frames and are more wraparound style, so they are my go to for outdoors.

I remember seeing how expensive the Rx Costa's were, but my Dad was going to a place a few years ago and I don't know if his insurance covered some of it, or if they were just plain cheaper, but he ordered me the Costa's and I think all in they were only $150. And that includes the Rx lenses.

Mine fell off of the first frames I had and the second frames (Costa replaced first ones for free). After the second time, I just slid my Croakies up to cover that area.

They replaced mine the first time. This time when I saw it was falling apart I just peeled all of it off. This week I noticed the nose pieces coming off. I just sent them back.
