Looking for a performance boat need opinions.

Ok so I have been doing a lot of research but want opinions, no it will not be new and I prefer FI over carbs. I have narrowed it down to Baja, Scarab, and Donzi, still considering 1 or 2 more (Sonic and Sunsation)but what would you suggest. 25 or 27ft. I have seen different opinions on both.

Yeah I have looked at a few of them, they are in the running. Nor-Tech is way past what I want to spend along with DCB's.

You should get a 29' SeaVee and put some custom benches up front and back that are removable. Nice stereo and you're set. You'd actually have something with resale value and utility.

The only two brands i have any experience with (just riding in / being around) is Baja and Fountain.
Both were quality brands, very well built.

The only TDOB approved performance boat would be one you can drop out of an airplane, dry start, and does 100+ mph.
Get the one the seals use, I think it's called a HSB (not the MKV) they used to build them in New Orleans east (Halter Marine)
I got a ride on the fiberglass demo boat as a kid, we went across lake pontchartrain from New Orleans by the point parallelled the causeway all the way to Mandeville in 17 minutes at night.
