I'll probably hunt one more season with my 5 year old PSE, but it's time to upgrade.

Figured the OB was the best place to start.

So personal. So many choices. There's no bad bows any more.

Try a "Bamabows" hunter model.

If that's not what you want, you'll have to pick one yourself.

If you spend over ~$400, you're getting a very good bow these days.

The new ones are stupidly fast.

I'm a diamond man. Buddy of mine just qualified for a world champion tourney. He likes his diamond than his matthews. Its all bought how the bow feels to you. Diff folks diff strokes. I would say shoot as many as you can before you buy.

I have a Monster and its a beast. Real fast, pretty dang quite. It is torquey though. and it has a 7" brace height. I would hate to try the one with 6" brace height.

It is the first bow that, and I have had 6 or 7 speed demons, that I could set my first pin at 30 yards. 0 to 30 there is not 2" difference in point of impact.

Mathews, Hoyt or Bow Tech in that order. Shoot all that your interested in! There is a difference in the "back wall" of each bow. You might like one over the other.
