Whats up with these cats drilling holes in their roofs and putting these big arse light bars on? I see 4 or 5 daily.

It's of epidemic proportions in the Lafayette area.

I was on I-49 this morning before daylight and some a-hole had his on coming the other way. It was f'ing blinding.

I can't tell what that truck started as, but my Tacoma has nuts welded in the inside of the roof with holes to access them...for a factory roof rack. I put an aftermarket rack on, but no idea why people would need light like that. I could see if you were doing an overnight rally at top speed. I'm not doing that though.

I don't have on won the roof. But I do have a light bar on my pre runner style bumper. It great off-road. Not for use on road. Thing is nobody in south louisiana takes these trucks off-road. That's what makes them so pathetic.

Mine similar to this one but without the gay neon lights and it has a 12,000lb winch built in

I'm still partial to KC 6" halogen but that's just me. I always wanted to point one backwards for tailgaters but I never did.

Modern day version of truck nuts. By far the easiest way of spotting a high school try hard.

I noticed one the other day for first time but still can't figure out a practical use unless you have a work truck. I could use one on my sxs though.

I wish that the police would start cracking down on these offroad lights being used on road.

One of my boys uses the light bar on the front bumper for Essen f getting in and out of the woods before and after daek. Those things throw out a ton of light.

No reason to be used on road. But most of the jacked up truck down here never see dirt. It's all for show

The light bar thing is kind of useless but that new look with extra wide and deep wheels is what's killing me. It looks terrible.

They're pretty nice when used off road. I don't have one on my truck but I do have one mounted on the front of my duck boat and it's pretty awesome. Unless it's foggy, then it's worthless.

They have their place on duck boats, ATVs and even in bars like Nado's.

I see 99% of them on 2014 Silverado and Tundra roofs. I did get a laugh when I saw a beat to shite early 90s 2wd Silverado with one the other day.

I have a 50 on my Ranger and have really thought about putting a 24 tucked away on my truck. The 50 is fantastic for getting around my property and I feel sure the 24 would be great too.
It would be hidden behind the bumper.

That would be pretty slick.

How bright are they compared to something like KC's?
