Looking for a new set of skinning knives. They will be used for deer and hogs. What's the OB's go to skinning knife that would cost less than $100?

The Outdoor Edge knives that have the replaceable blades are pretty good.

Agreed. Never mastered the art of knife sharpening and the replaceable blades work great. I usually get at least 2 deer per blade.

Gerber Gator has been my go-to since I was little, but I also like using the Cutco one

Outdoor edge here. Love the thing. Bought a 25$ electric knife sharpener off of Amazon and just sharpen it all of 3 seconds before I skin deer

This. The only reason you would say otherwise is because you haven't ever used one.

previous stock answer = outdoor edge swing blade

new answer = outdoor edge zip blade and a drop point knife of your choosing. Because I don't like the swing blade when cleaning the knife or changing the blade over from one side to the other.
