With the tubes we have today a 26 gun is essentially almost a 28 gun, but I'm no expert.

I think mine's a 24. It works. Too long a barrel and I get crosseyed looking with both eyes open.

I use a 24" barrel when hunting in a pit blind ( O/U Citori). After my first shot, my buddies are shellshocked and I get first dibs on second shot.

I still use my old Winchester Model X 12 semi-auto with 32" full choke for ducks and geese. The 28" is probably the best for all around.

Every gun is different, one gun might swing better for you with a 26" barrel, while on the next gun a 30" feels better...

True, I just couldn't imagine shooting a 32".
