What's the OB use? I have an electric but was recently given this Cutco Fisherman's Solution as a gift. It's hands down the best filet knife I've used.

There was a thread about this a few months back. I think that the general consensus was that the old white handled Dexter Russell was top dog. It's all I use.

+1 on the cutco. Hands down best non electric fillet knife I've ever had. I've had mine for 12 years. As far as electric goes, get the cheapo american angler. the black & gray one. Best damn electric knife ever!!! The blue & white saltwater one sucks balls, get the cheap one! Academy sells them...

I bought a small filet knife a few months ago. It has a 4" blade and is literally the best knife I own.

Looking at one as well. Heard good things about the knife in general but the sheath sucks according to several of the reviewers. Try it out and let us know what you think.

It's been a long time since I've kept any fish so I don't even know where my fillet knife is. I have an electric rapala and a spyderco catcherman.

Bubba blade

Like the handle

Blade is stiff but goes through big boned fish.

Takes some getting used to but not bad. Has stayed sharp as well.

Yeah that cutco was nice until my drunk buddy tried to pry open the vapor locked yeti with it. The knife snapped, he said it was a piece of shite, then threw the handle overboard! Dumbass

True but it's still overpriced imo.

Dexter is the way to go. Can't beat them for the money. I despise electric knives, I've burnt infinity up.

Cutco makes a fine blade, but I'm not spending $100 on a fillet knife.

I bought a handful of these at a garage sale the other day. All drop forge steel commercial knives.

Going to try it as a redfish knife.
