I usually head east and fish my way down to caminada bay. I don't find many until I get closer to grand isle. Is heading west toward little lake, then down toward fourchon more productive?
Looking for reds
In case anyone is interested, trout are on the inside marsh above fourchon marina. Mostly big white trout, but lots of specks mixed in

You need to play the wind. Fish east of its coming west. Go north when on west side until you find good water.
My FIL has been fishing reds down there for 20 years. He's been hammering them on the west side lately.
When on the east he goes towards SW and williams canal

It is my bad. I edited it
He hasn't been catching there lately anyway. The last two months he's been finding then north/NW of Leeville. I'm sure the are everywhere but he's been getting limits every trip lately

you hardly need to start the outboard to catch redfish limits in Leeville

You will find reds near deep bayou blue which is mostly eroded southside of little lake and in bayou blue north towards catfish lake. Also the north inlets off SW canal to the west holds reds
