Going to my lease in central Illinois for 10 days worth of nothing but hunting the rut, eating, sleeping, repeat.

There is a good front coming through tomorrow. Saturday and Sunday lows will be in the 20's.

Just got back from Pike county, Illinois on Sunday and the big boys were just starting to chase when I had to leave

Should be primetime rut after this front passes thru though so good luck

Aight, everyone that posted in this thread saying they were leaving to go somewhere to kill a giant must post pics when they get back.

Ahhh we'll be further north. I believe one of my buddies are near Pope right now. Has been seeing smaller bucks every day but nothing crazy. It's been hot

Just curious, how many acres do yall lease? I'm trying to get a lease in North missouri next season and everything I can find is around 115-200 acres. Which I'm assuming is enough to kill some deer.

150 total. Approximately 1/2 tillable and 1/2 wooded. You will not find large tracks of woods like we have in the south.
