LDWF: Dead seagulls, .22 rifle, meth and marijuana seized from shrimp boat

Anouda Lirette, 39, was arrested for using oversized skimmer nets, possessing marijuana, meth, drug paraphernalia, a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and non-game birds, a news release states. When agents made contact with the 42-foot vessel on Tuesday, they allegedly found oversize skimmer nets and noticed dead seagulls on the deck of the boat, according to the release. Further investigation revealed a .22 rifle, marijuana, crystal meth and drug paraphernalia on board, the release states. Agents seized 784 pounds of shrimp, six seagulls, the rifle and the drugs, and booked Lirette into the Terrebonne Parish correctional facility.

I can understand the need for everything except having meth and weed. Ill never understand the dynamic of mixing those two highs. Of course ive never experienced it but seems counterproductive

probably had 50 seagulls floating behind the boat and those were just out of reach to toss over the side so they stayed on the front deck (im guessing)
