Layout of the Land...Update in OP

Guys I've recently inherited about 30acres in Lincoln County MS. It's been passed down through 4 generations, so selling it or anything is out the question. Really, I'd like to use it as a little rec land, weekend get away type deal for the family. I'd love to clear a spot to put a slab on for a trailer and a cover, select cut it and make some trails for hunting. I just can't figure out how to lay it out. I've never had any experience with this kind of thing and want some opinions from experienced people. upload gambar[/img]
UPDATE: I'm ready to start work on the place. I know I'm a little late to the party to get some trails cut and plot areas cleared. But I can start some clearing and hang some stands for this coming deer season. Below is a plan I have come up with. I have North and South notated, plots in green and trails in orange. The blue dot is hoped to one day be a small pond. That is a low lying area that tends to hold a little water in a good rain. Let me know your thoughts. As I started before, this is my first time doing this, give me some pointers.

Ask your neighbors, they are already hunting it.

I had a suggestion for you but you fouled up and posted a side bewb. now my brain is stuck on this chick and not your land.

I'm in a similar situation with 80 acres. Our campsite is on one of the corners so we don't disturb the whole property when we come in and out or camp. 30 acres is much smaller, but that's what I would do.

I figured the best thing to do would be put camp in one of the front corners

If I can make one suggestion...dont throw money away on a trailer. Build some sort of permanent structure. It will be so much better in the long run

Have thought about that route as well. Just don't want to jump in over my head with having to build a place

Is there a chance you could purchase any of the property that's touching yours? If over the next few years you could purchase another30-50, you could have a nice little tract to hunt

Majority of it is owned by 2 of my uncles, roughly an additional 200 acres. The land below it (70 acres) is owned by a Solieu fellow from Larose.

In pic yes, the road faces north along the top of the area marked
