It's your money, but I wouldn't buy a zero turn with what you described your property. Get a cheap rider , and have money left. Just my opinion

Gravely zt42. My parents and I both have the same model for that size yard. Change the oil once a year is all we have ever done.
They bought theirs a few months ago for $2700

Buy one with the best mulching kit if its for your house. Not just a discharge plug but one you add baffles. I bought a mid grade Toro with the kit. My yard looks much better than my neighbors. Not the Home Depot Toro.

Exmark Radius Series 48inch. Spend the money and get a good mower. You get what you pay for and there's a reason big box shite is cheap.

I have a like new Hustler Raptor SD 54" cut that I am looking to sell. It has a Kawasaki engine and runs smooth as silk. I had to downsize and don't have as much yard anymore. I paid a little over $4k, I'd let it go for around $2500 to a fellow OBer.

The Kawasaki had some serious valve issues once they hit around 300 hours.
They did make I provements recently on the metal in the valve stems the last year of two.
If the unit over is older than 1-1/2 yrs old do not touch it or you will be paying a service center big bucks.

My Gravely ZT 42 with 24HP Kohler motor is money. My lot is .61 acres and I cut my yard in 45 minutes. The only thing I don't like is the sealed bearings. There aren't any grease fittings on the damn thing.

I own a corner lot in a neighborhood. Just a standard lot. I would love to have a zero turn. I used one once on the yard and it took no time. I would cut twice a week if I had one.
