Lake verret reports

Heading to the lake this afternoon with the wife. Anyone been catching any in the lake? Cracker head? Cheramie?

Well we chose verret in case it's too hot and the fish don't bite we can hit Gros or the spunky monkey

Launched at Adams and went to flat lake. Caught 40 goggle eye/ chinquapin mix. Threw back 3x as much. Messing around in the trees around the lake. Almost svery cast since 0700.

Oh, I gotcha. Not a bad backup plan,lol. I haven't heard much from the Chermie lately. Try fishing bell river or fish the bayous around Mosquito bar.
