This is on the east side of marsh island. Anyone ever fish it? Heard good things about it but never been. Mostly been to SW pass and the worm. Anything low water to watch out for? Was going to enter in Hawkin bayou.

Theres some construction on the north side right now.

Some restoration project or something.

In the lakes it's shallow.

I think the work crew dredged access to get there so the bayou to lake sand is ok.

Check the coastal use permit online to see exactly where they dug and what they are doing.

That would show you what's permitted, not always exactly what they did.

Went to the Sonris website and looked under the Office of Coastal Management. Is there a better way to search besides just entering the year and parish?

The top x-sec is the terraces, the bottom (B-B) is the access channel.

If I'm reading the bottom print right, it's saying that the average depth of lake sand is 2.9' to 6.0'?? If that's so, i've got no problem.

Just wondering now, if construction has pushed the redfish away.
