Sick of fishing the silver mine, Salvadore seems closer. Is the fishing year round? Is it tricky to run?

Pier 90 is closer but I don't like it.
I go to Bayou Sengette.

ehh...the lake is pretty hit and miss for trout, your best best for trout to be on the Lafitte side of the lake IMO.

You can if you want, just depends if you want to be in a truck more or a boat really, or you can launch at Bayou Segnette or Pier 90.

If you choose to go to Lafitte, you can launch right there by the Goose Bayou bridge and you can either go straight into The Pen or cross Barataria WW and go into the lake via Bayou Rigolets and Perot.
