Headed there today with my new kayak looking for bass.

I'm hoping this weather didn't shut em down.

Any suggestions for what's worked out here will be helpful.

Tight lines!

Pitch creature baits at the trees. Craws, brush hogs, and wacky senkos will usually do the trick. Sometimes a jig. Buzzbaits on top of the grass where you can get away with it has been productive for me.

Good luck

Thanks. This Texas boy doesn't know how to throw a jig so it's gonna be a minute

That lake is like that sometimes. It's either on or off. And just wait till the weather warms up. You think that was a lot of grass? There will be pads out in the middle of the lake.

It's feast or famines out there and that big front probably didn't help

The salvinia is going to be real bad everywhere this year. It got a good start with all this warm weather
