I don't know of any smith's by the launch and I'm 100 yards from it.

Smitty the lake runners were hitting good in the lake last week.

This.

I used to get pissed at the sight of hydrilla. I finally learned how to fish it. It's my favorite pattern now.

To continue, my best day on the water ever was in a hydrilla field so thick you couldn't troll through it. I had to fish it with a flat bottom aluminum boat and a PVC pipe with a 'T' on the end for a paddle so I could maneuver. I caught 5 fish over 5 lbs. and one was just under 12.

How's the water been there? Haven't been there or Bayou Black in weeks.

Also, anyone here ever fish Morgan City area out of Doiron's? Have a tournament for work in a few weeks and have never fished that area.

Fish are mostly in the marsh right now. If you have a lease you can do some work.

I would stick to shallow areas. Did good around Lake Hackberry.
