Sounds like Henderson was tough this weekend. Even Rambo Chug Bug had a tough weekend. He practically lives on that lake.

I went there this morning, too. Caught one 15 minutes in. Didn't get another bite for 3 hours. It was terrible. I'm sure I'll go back next weekend, though

Nice, i have a trip planned next spring in Toledo Bend with my uncle from missouri. Just bought an early retirement gift to himself which was a new boat. Hes coming down and we plan to spend a week there with the family.

We usually make a family spring trip also. Sometime in either March or April. Sometimes both. I don't think I've ever been in the fall. Which is kinda sad seeing as how close it is. My dad has a couple wealthy buddies that have camps up there and one of them will be there pretty much all this fall hunting. He's got like 4 extra bedrooms and said we are welcome any time. So we need to take him up on it.

I have a golf tournament on the 21st.
ETA: Can you guys recommend a rental for about 6 adults at toledo bend, preferably with a boat ramp near? where we can launch and fish without having to ride all over the lake. Something kinda nice.

Bridge Bay if they have any availability. Also Big Bass Marina might have something. Or Fin and Feather on the TX side.

I ended up not making a trip to Henderson last weekend, but I want to go fishing with someone that knows that area so I can learn something.
On another note I made a quick trip to jack millers. I caught 20 or so bass in about 2 hours. No size to them but it is fun to catch em.
