Probably. The water is kinda low so I don't even know if I can get into momma's pond. I scoped it out on google earth. Going left I remember the right side was mostly shallow bays. At some point it pinches down and past that looks like it may be a bit deeper. I will probably go poke around over there and see. Other than that I don't know where I will be.

From what my good ole uncle said, "you can launch, turn left, and start fishing. White and chartreuse" (but you gotta say chartreuse with the "ch" sound).

Basin fishing seems to be consistently decent everywhere. Once a couple cool fronts come through and those fish get into the fall pattern, it's gonna be on!
I worked this morning. But I got off early enough to take the wife and kids out to Henderson for a little while. Mostly just rode around. Stopped to fish in one spot up north cause I saw a lot of surface activity. Caught a few small bass.

Farad, lets be friends. Show me where you caught them fish. Exact coordinates, bait, and specifics on how you worked the bait.
Also, I may never go back to mono. First time bass fishing since I switched to braid, and its so easy to set the hook. And I was able to throw it much better than I thought I would.

Crankbait
Baby brush hog
Nothing like on spinnerbait.

Shoot me a text if you go to Henderson. I'll let you in on where I caught today. Might be worth checking it out. Caught 1 on senko and 2 on frog. Missed another on the senko cause I was checking a text message while my line was in the water.
Didn't fish for long, but there was a lot of fish activity in the area.

north of I-10...was throwing a redeye shad (lipless crank) kinda in a gold sexy shad color...gold is a good color out there for me...
the water is pretty out there right now...I was hitting cuts off of the canals where the wind was blowing across the north flats (from the east) through cuts into the deeper canals...when you find em they are stacked...
don't be afraid to change baits if you feel it...

Must've been fishing pretty close to where I was today.

Heading out to Henderson this afternoon. Gonna try the Five Points area. Never fished that location, but heard it may hold fish.

I've caught fish there before. I imagine you could run into a few there. Good luck.

Thanks. I am trying to learn the lake. Was doing ok before all the high water the last few weeks. Should be getting right again.
