He got this on day 3 of the Elite Series at Toledo Bend. Glad he won. I have always been a fan of his.

I don't see how KVD can fish with that many boats following him and watching his every move. It would be hard not to become irritated and rude to them.

It shows how much lure selection and presentation matters. All these people fish the same spots as him, yet he consistently whips their arse.

What in the hell is wrong with those people? How can you get any enjoyment out of your day on the water being stuck up someone's arse like that?

Nice fish. He's got more patience than i do. I would've either landed or lost that fish about 2 minutes earlier than he did.

Are all of those boats just watching him fish? Is that normal?

I guess if you are a local fan you could follow KVD around for 2 days. GPS record every spot he fished and fish those exact spots the next time you are on Toledo.

Crazy. I don't understand the appeal of watching someone fish.

Nice fish... I also enjoyed the next video in the stream as it showed him having to break his line because he was hung up.

"It happens". Well, at least I have one thing in common with KVD.

I missed the fish. I was busy trying to identify landmarks in the background.

Watching the live feeds off and on this weekend he had to ask numerous times for people to back up, there should be a little more respect for these guys during these tournaments, especially from observers that fish and know better.

That would be funny.

Guy: So what is your game plan for today's tournament?

Angler: I don't know. I think I'm just going to follow KVD around the lake and fish around him.

doubt it. They are just spectators that rape the spots after he leaves them. Happens pretty much every time KVD fishes a tournament. That is what makes what KVD did even more impressive over a 4 day tourney. He has to pretty much have new spots for everyday of the tourney.

I wouldn't have a problem with them shutting the lake down for these major tourneys. I couldn't handle people around me like that. They can watch it on a stream or at the weigh-in.

There is no way in my right mind that I could sit in my boat 50 feet away from him all day and think that was okay.

Only slightly related...did you see the latest MLF? Rojas, Grigsby and Kelly Jordan were fishing the same cut at the same time. Each could have casted in each other's boat. They were talking to each other the whole time and it was handled really well.

Yeah, screw the public and their property.
