Does anyone have any experience with this breed? I've had Rat and Jack Russel terriers and neither one of these made the type of hunting dog I'm looking for. I am wanting a good tree dog that won't be afraid of a coon if need be.

I've seen em bay hogs and be very gritty. Good nose and not afraid to get after it if need be.

Guarantee you will not make one a squirrel dog or coon dog. Way too crazy for that. Hog dog is about it. they flip a switch like no other dog. Calm and family pet one minute and then BAM fuuccking something up with zero let up the next. If a pitbull had the demeanor of a Jagd they would outlaw the breed nation wide immediately.
