Only in grand isle can there be festival with kids racing crabs and right across the parking lot women sticking fishing baits in their arse.. the freaking Catalina wine mixer? Hell nah this is the freaking Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo!!!

If I had to guess ur neighbor hired a guide to take him to catch a tarpon. Some have been know to go to the keys and catch them and run back to grand isle and some have been know to fly them back to grand isle.. It's the international tarpon rodeo so u can catch it anywhere as long as u have time to get it to there to the weight station. And yes some people probably cheat and catch them a few days earlier but that's why they don't give cash prizes
