On my way in to work I saw a beautiful 8 point running a doe hard... You boys getting on a stand should have a good hunt. If you're in area 6 I can confirm they are acting stupid.

I'm waiting as long as I can to open the window on this cover, the wind is going to be right in my face all morning.

That was quick.

Claiborne Parish
34* wind already starting

Killed a small doe right at dark last night. Hoping the guys running dogs next to us don't screw things up.

Side note, today is me and Mrs. Deacon's 19th anniversary and I'm 4 hours away in the deer stand. She either loves me or she gave up on me.

Orphaned a little buck. Hope he makes it. He looks about 60 pounds so he should be fine. What's yalls theory on that? I always heard shoot does with yearling bucks but I'm not sure I believe that.
