Took the day to "do some Christmas shopping"
Days off are hard to come by for me right now

Hoping I can get lucky this morning as I still have zero deer in my freezer and really do need to buy a few gifts.

Dec 18th is the opening of woodcock season. I have a Christmas party at little wick's school this am then I am checking him out and we are heading for the woods with the dogs.

Had a damn good acorn crop this year. Saw 8 yesterday, just not the one I wanted. If a big nanny walks out, she getting it too.

Last day of 5 day trip. We've covered 2000 miles and hunted pheasant, dove, geese, sandhill crane, exotic does, and now white tail. It's been fun, but damn am I exhausted
