Me and the oldest boy leaving for Alabama Wednesday, hopefully deer like eating dirt because that's all that is in the greenfields

Had to take off this morning to sell a guy a horse. Was gonna meet him at 9 and considered making a quick morning hunt but figured it wasn't worth the time. Here it is 10 and I'm still waiting

Couldn't get a signal in the stand this morning, but the rut in nwla is ON.

Ended up seeing 5 bucks this morning. 2 4points, a 6, beautiful basket 8, and a big boy that I couldn't get a bead on until he has already crossed my lane. All looking for some lovin.

3 of them were chasing the same doe. Anybody ever seen that before?

Eta-this all happened within 45 minutes of each other.the only one I wanted to shoot was the amine I couldn't get a shot on.

Still a fun arse morning.

Most ive seen was 5 behind one doe. They say that's when you know youre buck / doe ratio is right

My dad lives off of Woodbriar (formerly known as WF Davidson Rd)

We'll be hunting in North Central La. this weekend hopefully the rut is on there as well. I got my doe piss ready.
