I have a Pelican and to be honest I don't use it often. I mean how often do I need to keep ice for more than a couple of days. I typically just use my igloo since it is lighter and easier to move and carry around.

Nope, if you go to one of the 19 page threads on here seems like everyone feels the need to test their $40 cup against their new $9 cup. There are also about 5,000 YouTube videos doing ice testing.

No discernible difference.

I have a Mammoth cooler, it is not near the quality of a YETI. That being said, I think that others probably are.

As far as cups go; Ozark Trail (found at Walmart) has been been proven to be basically the exact same performance. They look exactly the same too.

For coolers; not sure. Ozark Trail is also putting out some coolers that look kind of yeti-ish, but not a direct knockoff.

Ozark Trail is being sued by Yeti if that tells you anything.

Cups are the same.

Most coolers are too.

Only 2 I have experience with are the K2 and Rtic.
Same things as yeti. I will note though while I'v never seen one break I just dont like the rubber hold downs on the K2. They seem a little too thin.

Same goes for Icey-tek their hold downs are garbage, and I have seen one break. The box itself is nice, but that much money should see better hardware attached to it.

Not in function. They are all made at the same factory.

For coolers the major difference I see are the seal and the handles. I'm convinced most will keep ice about the same amount of time.

On the Yeti you can add water, turn over, and it will not leak. On cheap knock offs the water will leak out. On some cheaper ice chest the handles are prone to breaking. Look for a screws in the handles, if they have them stay away.

I will keep rolling with my cheap igloo coolers. The ice lasts longer than I can drink in one session so I'm good

Minor details, but they are all too damn heavy for the vast majority of what they actually get used for.

Check out EvaKool out of Australia, they have a lot of options as far as grades and applications, and are cheaper. They are just hard to find/source here

I bought the 20oz ozark cup for my coffee in the morning. Also received a 30 oz yeti cup for Christmas that I use for my water during the day. The only problem I have with ozark is the rubber gasket on the lid has been sliding off when I pull the lid up. As far as the insulation goes, it's exactly the same. I have to pull the lid off my coffee cup to be able to drink it on the way to work. If not, it's still burning my mouth after my 60 mile commute. Highly impressive. As far as my 30 oz yeti, it keeps ice throughout the day. Haven't tested the 20 oz with water, so take it how you want.

Until ozark comes out with a hopper, I'll go to bat for yeti. If you've ever tried to carry a yeti ice chest, you know just how heavy they are (can't speak for knockoffs). The hopper carries 1 case of beer with ice easily, and can be toted by 1 person. I tend to just use my ice chest on the boat, or at the camp now.

I have an older 30qt K2 cooler that sucks. The screws holding the metal latches keep backing out causing it not to latch and seal good. The lids gasket is basically cheap, adhesive weatherstripping.

I am hoping they have improved their design. Luckily mine was free.
