Is it possible to have a decent lawn without sprinklers?

When we built I got hammered with an overage of sod cost we weren't expecting, so I shifted things around and didn't get sprinklers installed so we could still close on time. (living with mother in law, wanted to close on time)
It has now become the biggest regret of my life thus far. I have battled the weeds back and have a perfect weed free bermuda lawn.
Problem is, 90 degree temps and no rain for 3-4 days and it looks like shite again. Aside from dragging the damn hose out and watering, is it even possible to keep up with manually watering to have a green lawn?
Have I mentioned I'm an idiot for not getting the sprinklers?

It's not a small lot either, I think it was 38k sqft.
I guess I need to start looking into installing them myself.

Get one of those yellow and white tractors that move themselves

You can set up tripod sprinklers off a hose bib timer and move them around as needed when it is dry. Pretty much whatever you do at this point won't have a rain sensor so you will have to manually turn it off to prevent over watering.

The biggest regret in your entire life is not installing lawn sprinklers?
Some of yall take this lawn shite a little too seriously.

No shite. I once broke up with an attractive girl who, in her own words, "really like giving head." That's probably not even top 10 and blows sprinklers out of the water.

of Bermuda is more high-maintenance than a busload of country club women from Bocage.
Good luck. All kidding aside, if you can make it through this year by dragging a couple sprinklers and hoses around, you can wait until next year when you are good and settled into the house to tackle installing a sprinkler system. Maybe in the winter the landscaping crews will be less busy and you can get the system installed for a bargain.

I'm being dramatic but dragging damn 100 feet of hose around sucks. My water pressure also demolishes cheapo sprinklers and blows them out.
I'm fine with running the pipe, setting up the valves and all that. It's the separate water meter I can't do and I also have no idea how to get the electrical stuff inside the garage to a control panel. Daylight basement so the front of the garage is underground behind a retaining wall.

That is a wonderful thing.

I used some galv. pipe and built this tall sprinkler with a high output irrigation head on it. Covers most of my small yard.

You live on a MLB field?

All you need is a receptacle to plug into (hopefully a gfi) if you by an outdoor controller. You can mount it outside wherever you want

Get a handful of the sprinklers you spike into the ground and a couple of hoses. Put a splitter on the faucet. That's what I did a few years ago when I planted seed. Get home in the evening, spike them in the ground, turn on the faucet. Go inside and get dinner going, and 15-20 minutes later, go turn it back off. Did that 3-5 times a week until they started growing, then back to 2-3 days a week for maintenance. Then this winter get some quotes on systems. You're only out the cost of $8 sprinkler heads, a $4 splitter, and maybe another hose if you only have 1.
