is 3 years old too old to neuter a dog?

I've got this 3 year old Catahoula and I'm not going to be a backyard breeder. Would getting him neutered now have any effect on his behavior? He's not a bad dog by any means, btw.

I think letting your 3 year old neuter a dog is pretty fricked up

I've always felt the older the dog is the better. Gives them a chance to completely mature. I'm no vet, but that's just my opinion. Seems like if you cut them too early, they don't completely mature.

Mine was always trying to hump my leg...got him neutered and that shite stopped...

other than him no longer finding me attractive, I saw no difference...
