You have to pay a fee to enter. There are two beaches, both with restrooms/showers. Very shaded rv pads and some tent camping sites down a little path away from the rv pads.

I don't fish so couldn't tell you anything about that. I honestly didn't realize there was a boat ramp.

All in all a very nice little park.

It's called "The Dead Sea" and "Lake MegaSuck" around here.

I have heard that, but the wives are going run and shite and they will fish. They aren't expecting much.

If forced to bass fish there this time of year, I'd just float around the middle with a drop shot while scanning for schoolies. Or hit myself in the pud with a hammer. Both about the same amount of pain.

Buy some shiners at Leebos in Woodworth or bring your favorite color jig (monkey milk). If you have some good electronics cruise the edge of the boat road on the north end of the lake looking for some structure. You can catch a few perch. Be careful, the water is high so most of the stumps are just under the water.

We were not in the lane. I'll have to go make a scan with my new chirp machine.

never had a problem with LA fish. These CA fish sure are finicky though. I can't get Alx out here to show me how to capture.

Beautiful place to camp, but I've never fished there. Be sure to drive the speed limit around there.
