Ill be heading to grand isle 7/30-8/1. Need some help

I'm bring the family and want to take my kids crabbing on the beach during the day and fishing on the bridge at night. Am I wasting my time or is when im going a good time for that? Thanks

May be tailing off a little, but still should be good. Bring about 15-20 deep water nets and yall will have a blast.

The bridge should be good. I would go late night and fish the lights closer to Bridgeside.

I hear if you drive your truck into the surf the vibration of the engine attracts some.

I plan on running the crab traps from my f250 similar to a crawfish pond.

You'll have a great time. Action has been good at the bridge. Specks mixed in with white trout mainly. Crabs start running a bit more in late July, so you'll have a good time
