Where would you move if you could move anywhere in Louisiana for equal opportunity with fishing and hunting? I think Lake charles area is best bet.

Anywhere right north of Covington. Bush, Folsom, Abita, etc.

NOLA beats the pants off of everywhere else in the state in terms of fishing (freshwater, inshore and offshore is as good or better than anywhere else in the state), and has access to very good duck hunting (although probably not the best). Obviously you're losing out on turkey hunting but there are some good deer hunting areas available within striking range of NOLA as well.

Basically I think the offshore fishing (which is half a dozen sports in itself) puts NOLA ahead of the rest of the state in terms of opportunities. If you subtract the offshore fishing there are several spots in LA that are as good or better than NOLA.

Are you just talking about living in New Orleans? Or just the area, because you can take advantage of all that from the area. I would NEVER live in New Orleans/Metairie/Kenner.

just the area in terms of opportunities to hunt and fish.

Lake Charles and Venice. I'd leave the salt water behind to remain in St. Francisville
