Call me what you will but I had to put down the bow for this morning. Too cold for my blood. First time all season with my rifle.

Stand watching woods. Usually a productive location - opposite end if lease where I have been hunting last few days, less pressure on this end

Update for those who caught my am message in yesterday's IST - checked rabbit after morning hunt - 1/2 eaten. Left it ad was still there in afternoon. Right at dusk owl came back, landed in tree and checked things out then back to his/her kill ad finished it off. Stayed in stand long enough to see the finish. Great day!
Here's to a great 2015 OB. Enjoy this last day of 2014.

First time in this stand in a month. Someone has put in a reclining office chair with arms (not good on 4hrs of sleep)

Rattled in a young 6pt. As soon as I stopped he ran in right on top of me and had already pin pointed where it was coming from.
