It's a beautiful pistol. And I don't think I saw any MK25s. I wasn't looking that hard though.

Our Academy here usually has P226 in the $900s - I think they had a Mk25 - once - for like $1050 or thereabouts. I guess I need to check with the local stores to see if they can get either at a reasonable price.
I like my SP2022, but I don't love it. I love my P245 and P229.

Ours had one for $799 this week. But I didn't want to wait for tax free weekend and risk that I couldn't get this one because for a few bucks more I got the one from Bowie. There was 1 at each store (Academy and Bowie's)

I bought a 226 Mk 25 for myself and M11 A1 for my wife @ the Spotted Dog in Columbia. Did my shopping and got a great deal ! Better deal than you would believe , so I will just leave it at that . Both are great shooters !!

Yeah that's what I think happened. Once I moved on to other rounds it worked fine.

There are some NATO specced 124 gr's that Wal Mart sells that I like. PPU maybe? Cheap and more pressure than the 115's. Closer to my self defense round (Gold Dot 124 +p)
