I think I have a cobra kang in my yard.

Found this on top of the chain link fence between my house and the neighbors. That's a full 6 ft. Going fill up a 5 gallon gas can and burning down my house.

I had to go in their backyard last year to get a rat snake out from under their hot tub.

Almost definitely a rat snake. Also, the skin stretches up to 40% when they shed. So, a 6 ft long shed skin might have come from a 4 1/2 ft snake. But, of course, rat snakes can easily surpass 6 ft.

Yep. I'm betting rat snake too. Those suckers can grow to 20 ft. long. Well, maybe not 20, but pretty dang long.
