Because it ended up in someone's yard, I called the cops to put a bullet in it. The cop shoots it with a .223 from about 20 ft.

After a minute or two, it's quite obvious his shot placement was rather...poor.

I grab the .22 out of the truck and hit her behind the ears. Instant kill.

The points? Always buy a winch bumper, cops generally can't shoot for shite, and shot placement trumps all.

Good thing there wasn't a dog barking nearby. The LEO would have shown you what shot placement is.

At least you didnt hit a deer going about 45mph on a motorcycle like I did
Didnt have to worry about putting her down because she dropped right where I hit her, they guy whose yard my bike landed in took the deer before I could say anything though lol

So the cop let you shoot it instead of the cop shooting it again? He actually put his rifle away and let you go grab your 22 to shoot it again?

He actually shot it, confidently put the rifle back in his car, and we were deciding who was gonna take the deer when I realized he couldn't shoot for shite.

I walked the 100ft back up to the road and grabbed my own gun.

Hopefully this us enough of a summary for you.

Because of something I missed in this story, or just on general principal. I'm confused.
