This serpent frick was under my carport early Monday morning. Before I could get to him with my battle ax he got away. Came home from the neighbors last night and lo and behold look who the rain washed up. Needless to say he want getting away twice.

Yea all I had was an 8 inch rubber mal. I missed the first time and he struck. After that I unleashed hell. Hot him at least 25 times.

No way in hell I go after one with anything that frickin short. Golf clubs or a shovel are my weapons of choice when I can't sling lead at them. I always have a shovel handy thanks to the dogs not responding to the toilet training. Actually my youngest dog already has almost as many kills as I do. Little shithead loves slinging them around.

It's something to see. Usually end up with snake jiblets like you said, and a dog with swollen nugget for a couple of days.

A friend in my Sunday school class had a picture on face book of the live copper head that ended up bitting him. He spent 3 days in the hospital.

My response was that you should only post pictures of dead copper heads.
