I need to get a new drill press tomorrow

Well, I found out the hard way that my Delta drill press has pulleys that are (or were) made of cast dog shite. One of the motor and one on the spindle blew up. Total to replace those is $265, and the drill was given to me brand new for free. I have also got to wait two months for the only company in the country who makes the motor pulleys to cast some
I am probably gonna take the motor off of this one to put it in my giant pile of stuff I'll never use and trash the rest, so it's time to drop some coin on a new one. Three brands that I am interested in are JET, Delta, and General International. I don't know how the quality of each compares though.
I need it for tomorrow, mainly use it for metal 14ga-5/8", don't wan't a lathe, and am not going to spend any more than $500 on one. I have a work bench I can mount it to, or I have room on the floor for a standing one.
Any advice? Are there any brands I am missing?

Rikon, grizzly/shop fox, powermatic (likely out of your price range though)

there is a place North of I-12 on Hwy 59 just south of Abita that can match up any pulley you want...
I had to have a custom pulley for converting my McClane curb edger to a Honda motor and they had it for me in about a week...
make due with what you can until then...If not, I will take it off your hands and fix it up...I can always use a good drill press...(Dibs)

Spindle pulley for a DP350 is $185 only from Delta
Motor pulley is $80 from this small company in South Carolina that usually has a waiting list for them
They are both odd variable pitch pulleys, and I have a project due for class Thursday that I need to use it for. The bottom spindle pulley is pressed into a bearing also. Just a PITA bad design

Ended up with this JET JDP-12 for $399 from Beerman. They were the only people with a decent drill press in town that was in my price range. Every other one I found was either $1000+ or had those stupid stepped pulleys to adjust the speed. These pulleys are the same type, but are cast aluminum, and I don't see any defects in them at all. Hopefully this one lasts a while.
Side note:
If you ever need to burn through some cash, go to Beerman. That place is loaded with stuff. I almost walked out with a new Wilson bench vise. Had to remind myself I just spend $430 on a drill press. Everything I walked by, I thought, "Oh yeah, I need that". Impulse buy city over there

Harbor freight has a 12 inch table top for $140.00 I know what you bought is a much better press, but for 140 i would have gave it a try.

I haven't had the best luck with Chicago Electric stuff. I have had three power tools from there break within 5 minutes. I thought about just getting something cheap and returning it, but I'd be buying something nice soon anyway

Yeah, I checked over there first and they said they didn't sell what I needed. They have a place in Harahan by the Coke plant. You can have that Delta one if you want. I'm gonna be busy as hell until next weekend though, so I'd have to get it to you then
